Mounjaro Starter
RM4275 for 3 months
About the treatment
Your entry point into treatment with Mounjaro. This plan is designed for those who are new to Mounjaro, gradually introducing your body to the medication with a 3-month dose-escalation schedule (2.5 mg → 5 mg → 7.5 mg). Starting low and increasing gradually helps minimise side effects like nausea while your body adjusts, before you move on to a steady maintenance dose.
How does it work?
Mounjaro is a once-weekly injection from a newer class of medications known as dual incretin treatments that uses the acrtive ingredient Tirzepatide. Unlike traditional GLP-1 medications, it activates two natural gut hormones; GLP-1 and GIP, which work together to regulate appetite, improve fullness after meals, support metabolic health and help control blood sugar.
By mimicking both hormones at the same time, it delivers stronger effects on appetite and metabolism than GLP-1 treatments alone. The active ingredient, has been shown to reduce hunger, cut cravings, improve control of eating and help people feel fuller for longer. These effects can lead to eating fewer calories and, over time, significant weight loss.
A major clinical trial involving more than 2,500 adults without diabetes (SURMOUNT-1) found that participants taking weekly treatment achieved up to 22.5% weight loss over 72 weeks, equivalent to around 20–25 kg or more, depending on starting weight. These results were achieved alongside simple lifestyle changes such as healthier eating and regular physical activity.
This treatment mimics the natural gut hormones GLP-1 and GIP to suppress appetite, slow digestion, and help you feel fuller for longer, supporting meaningful weight loss. It also helps regulate blood sugar levels, which is beneficial for both weight and glucose management.

Directions for use
It comes in the form of a pen that is injected under the skin once a week, starting from a low dose of 2.5 mg. After 4 weeks, the dose is gradually increased to 5 mg once weekly. The weekly dosage is then increased again to 7.5 mg for the final month.
Inject your dose under the skin (subcutaneously) in your stomach area (abdomen), thigh, or upper arm, using a different injection site each week when injecting in the same body region. After one month, throw the pen away and replace it with another pen for the following month's treatment.
What's in the box and how long does it last?
Contains 3 pens covering a 3-month dose: 2.5mg x 1 pen, 5mg x 1 pen, 7.5mg x 1 pen. Each pen lasts 1 month and includes 4 sterile syringes for weekly injections.
