Mounjaro® is a once-weekly injection from a newer class of medications known as dual incretin treatments. Unlike traditional GLP-1 medications, Mounjaro activates two natural gut hormones; GLP-1 and GIP, which work together to regulate appetite, improve fullness after meals, support metabolic health and help control blood sugar.

By mimicking both hormones at the same time, Mounjaro® delivers stronger effects on appetite and metabolism than GLP-1 treatments alone. The active ingredient, Tirzepatide, has been shown to reduce hunger, cut cravings, improve control of eating and help people feel fuller for longer. These effects can lead to eating fewer calories and, over time, significant weight loss.

A major clinical trial involving more than 2,500 adults without diabetes (SURMOUNT-1) found that participants taking weekly Tirzepatide achieved up to 22.5% weight loss over 72 weeks, equivalent to around 20–25 kg or more, depending on starting weight. These results were achieved alongside simple lifestyle changes such as healthier eating and regular physical activity.

Mounjaro® is a once-weekly self-injection. After preparing the pen and checking the flow, inject into the abdomen, thighs, or upper arms, rotating sites each time. For upper-arm injections, it’s best to have someone assist.

Each box contains 1 pen and 4 sterile syringes. Each pen lasts for 1 month.
