Diana Danielle

“I thought I knew my body. Then I realised I'd just learned to ignore most of what it was telling me.”

She did everything she thought she was supposed to do.

For years, Diana Danielle did everything she thought she was supposed to do. She stayed active, ate well, and looked healthy from the outside. But as life changed, so did her body—and the answers that once seemed simple no longer were.

Growing up in the public eye meant every change became part of the conversation. Like many women, she wondered why the same habits stopped delivering the same results. Eventually, she realised it wasn't about trying harder. It was about understanding what her body was trying to tell her.

"I've learned that our bodies change, and so do our needs. The support you need today may not be the support you needed years ago—and that's okay."

Today, Diana's journey is no longer about chasing perfection. It's about understanding her body, embracing every stage of life, and encouraging other women to do the same.

WHY WEIGHT CHANGES WITH AGE

Why does managing your weight become more difficult over time?

As women age, hormones, metabolism and body composition naturally change. Weight may become harder to lose or easier to gain, even if your diet and exercise stay the same. These changes are common—but that doesn't mean they should be ignored.

Hormones & Metabolism

As women age, hormones such as oestrogen naturally decline, affecting far more than reproductive health. They also influence metabolism, muscle mass and where the body stores fat. This is one reason why maintaining the same weight can become more challenging, even when your habits haven't changed.

Your body isn't the same body

The strategies that worked in your 20s or 30s may not work in your 40s and beyond. Ageing naturally brings changes in metabolism, body composition and energy needs. Gaining weight or finding it harder to lose isn't simply a matter of willpower, it's often a reflection of how your body has changed over time.

It's not just about eating less

Weight management becomes more complex with age. Hormones, sleep, stress, muscle mass and metabolism all play a role in how your body uses and stores energy. Understanding these changes is the first step towards making informed decisions about your health, rather than blaming yourself when old approaches stop working.
